Beta 3 Map Pack 2 Demo is getting close to completion
I decide to improve Beta 3 more before I release Map Pack 2 (By OVERRiDE)
New Features, almost completed:
1.) - All new CS weapon Models: Glock-18, Desert Eagle, Shotgun, Knife, Sniper Rifle, and AK-47
(most previous weapons are Opposing Force weapons!)
- Complete weapon models ( previous weapons only partially ported )
- Compressed weapon models ( better for DC RAM ) 2.) - New HD HGrunt Model from Counter-Strike: Condition Zero
- Will be possible to pick sides: Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist! 3.) - Compressed Models when possible ( better for DC RAM ) 4.) - More .wad texture compression ( better for DC RAM )

- Removed annoying intro "HEV online" wave audio PAK 1 - Remove some maps that dont load
- Customized to launch from main menu PAK 2 - New Muzzleflash Sprites
- New Crosshar Sprites PAK 3 - Temporarily removed model for "Alien" because too large in memory PAK 4 - New HD SFX for ALL weapons ( in DC ADPCM format )
- Added 2 minute intro BGM "Abandoned in place" from HL2 Ep2. ( in DC ADPCM format ) PAK 0 - [ Located in the BARNEY folder ]

- Now uses CSDC models and weapons (fixed from Beta 2) WADs - To increase Free DC Memory, I compress bitmaps (.bmp) in the following texture paks.
Quality loss is minimal, but expect better compression and quality when we are able
to use PVR textures in WADs.

- CSDC Beta 2 by OVERRiDE -
Many new weapon models have made their way into Beta 2, but there are still new weapons from Counter-Strike to be ported to Dreamcast. There are 3 fully playable maps available for DC users without a keyboard, and 11 fully maps for DC users with a keyboard. As of Beta 2, all maps are individual, meaning that when the map ends the game is over. In final release, all maps will be linked, meaning when one map ends, the next map will load, etc.
Current Maps Ported to DC, not all are fully playable: as_oilrig, as_secretbase, as_tundra2, cs_007bunker, cs_007silo, cs_007train, cs_assault2, cs_747, cs_dam, cs_iraq, cs_italy, cs_matrix, cs_militia, cs_narcissus, cs_oldmansion, cs_rio, cs_riob, cs_siege, cs_stargate, de_aztec2, de_cbble, de_dust, de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nostromo, de_nuke, de_prodigy e de_train
Dev Team Quote: Dreammatrix: Re; Beta 2 About this path beta 2, all paks have been re-built from the ground up since the first beta. Beta 2 has more maps, various maps such as de_dust and others now play without freezing, and models of weapons, characters, etc. have been updated. This path still uses textures paks (.wad) containing .bmp images from the normal PC version, but Russian cptPauer (who initiated this project) found a tool to convert all .bmp textures to the the Dreamcast .pvr texture format, and inject them into the .wad texture pak, and the result occupies 1/8 of the size of a normal wad freeing more memory for dc. The sounds use a special codec that compact the .wav for 1/3 of the original size, in the future of all the sounds of weapons, music etc will be compacted. The models of weapons of the hldc use textures pvr. With certainty, in the future more maps like cs_Iraq are going to play without locking up for lack of memory. Screen-Shots
